You do not have to be enrolled in TCC to take the GED ® test at one of our testing centers. The GED Test is a five-part, multiple choice and essay exam that tests your knowledge and skills in Language Arts Writing, Language Arts Reading, Social. The Northwest Campus Professional Certification Testing Center (WCTS 1148) offers the GED ® test. The Office of Adult Education helps adults learn the skills needed to get a job that can support one’s family. We offer High School Equivalency (HSE) courses to help you prepare for the GED ® test through Community Education and Engagement: HSE Test Prep. Test may only be administered by authorized testing centers. TEA is the only agency in Texas authorized to issue the Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency. Course requirements are in accordance with standards established by the state.
